Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist II at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. You will operate radiographic equipment, perform fluoroscopy, and support invasive procedures in the OR using C-Arm and/or O-Arm.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and patient care within a team-based environment. Requires ARRT certification, MD/VA licensure upon hire, BLS, and 3+ years of diagnostic radiography experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Three (3) or more years of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy experience.
• ARRT certification required upon hire; Maryland and/or Virginia licensure upon hire; BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs according to physician specifications and radiographic protocols.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages while following radiation safety and organizational policies; use C-Arm and/or O-Arm for invasive procedures in OR.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety; assist in training students and employees.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and manage supplies and inventory.
• Communicate with patients to obtain medical history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort.
