What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is seeking a Part-Time Senior Project Advisor to support the BU24 Risk Group with tasks related to EPA RMP and OSHA PSM regulations. Responsibilities include conducting International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration Standard 9 Gap Assessments, leading Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), and performing ammonia refrigeration engineering calculations. This part-time role averages 20 hours per week, involves travel about 50% of the time, and can be performed remotely.

How you can make an impact

As a Part-Time Senior Project Advisor, you will play a key role in helping our clients comply with EPA RMP and OSHA PSM regulations. Your duties will include:

• Leading Assessments: Conducting IIAR Standard 9 Gap Assessments to identify compliance gaps in ammonia refrigeration systems.

• Facilitating PHAs: Leading multidisciplinary teams through Process Hazard Analyses to evaluate and mitigate chemical process hazards.

• Performing Engineering Calculations: Supporting system design and safety analysis through detailed ammonia refrigeration calculations.

• Providing Technical Guidance: Offering expert solutions to complex engineering challenges to improve safety and efficiency.

• Mentoring: Supporting junior staff development and knowledge transfer.

• Business Development: Assisting with proposals, client presentations, and expanding service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• Skills in business development and client relations are preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Pay Range

USD $82.00 - USD $85.00 per hour.
