Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Payroll Senior Processor in Glendale, AZ, for part-time telework with minimum three days in-office per week. You will manage weekly payrolls for union and non-union staff in the US and monthly payrolls in the Americas using SAP.

The role collaborates with Labor Relations and project locations to ensure accurate data, timely processing, and reconciliation. Strong Excel and payroll systems experience are preferred.

• SAP FICM Payroll experience (Preferred).
• Familiar with Oracle Financial journal entry process (Preferred).
• Knowledge of Bechtel's general ledger and chart of accounts (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day Payroll department operations.
• Coordinate processing schedules of groups for which payroll processing shares dependencies.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and employee payments.
• Ensure the integrity of the employee data held in the payroll system.
• Assist in the creation and balancing of all outbound files for banking, labor and tax.
• Coordinate the creation of third-party remittance file for accounts payable processing.
• Provide functional analysis, feedback and support for system design changes and enhancements.
• Supports the account reconciliation department monitoring payroll accounts.
