Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a part-time Service Coordinator for Chateau Maurice in Paris, TN. This role supports residents of a senior housing community by coordinating services, advocating for needs, and connecting residents with community resources.

The position emphasizes customer service and teamwork within a supportive management environment. The Service Coordinator will develop relationships with local providers, maintain a resource directory, and sponsor educational events

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for residents and provide organized, problem-solving support to achieve results.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and network with service providers to obtain new services for residents.
• Identify low-cost service providers and negotiate discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to community agencies as needed.
• Develop a Resource Directory listing state/local providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, agency support, life skills, and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service to residents and assist with basic needs.
• Assist residents in accessing housekeeping, meals, transportation, personal services, and financial assistance.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
