Job summary

River Commons Senior Living is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Dining Services Team Member for a part-time role on Saturdays to Mondays, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. The position supports all dining room activities, meal service, and clean, safe kitchen and dining areas for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, team-oriented, and dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality in a welcoming setting for seniors.

Qualifications

• 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• CA Food Handlers Card required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of and responsibility for assigned section, including cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure food is delivered hot to each resident and assist with distribution in dining room.
• Communicate mistakes, complaints and accidents to the Culinary Supervisor and Community Administrator.
• Assist with dining room prep, greeting residents, running food, bussing and cleaning.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks promptly.
