Job summary

The Mather Evanston is seeking a Life Centre Server to provide welcoming, attentive service in our Life Centre dining environment for residents and guests. This part-time role offers an hourly wage of $18–$20 USD, with benefits including PTO, a 401(k), paid training, and wellness programs. The schedule is weekdays 4:00pm–8:30pm with weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• English language proficiency.
• Preferred: Prior service experience in dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Ensures accuracy of food orders and serves food safely and promptly.
• Ensures meals meet residents’ dietary requirements.
• Suggests food and beverage options to residents and guests.
• Closes checks promptly and accurately.
• Maintains a neat, professional appearance and completes side work.
• Communicates effectively with residents, peers, and management.
• Reports resident or guest concerns to supervisors.
• Maintains sanitation standards and supports department goals.
