Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Ability to perform basic math.
• Additional endorsements to Serv Safe may be required depending upon location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location requirements.
• Depending on location, may be required to drive. Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assemble baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors, within menu and dietary guidelines.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food and food products.
• Operates kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, kettles, grills, and dishwashers.
• Maintains sanitation, labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery.
• Communicates with internal customers and works as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
