Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Danville, CA is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily activities and enrichment programs for residents. You will encourage participation, assist with calendars and newsletters, and escort residents to programs as needed.

Maintain organized spaces and support volunteers while documenting participation per regulations. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead small groups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver’s license, as applicable.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
