Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center is seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team. You will plan and lead engaging activities to enrich residents' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being, working 1-2 days per week, with evenings/weekends as needed.

This role offers potential for growth into a full-time position; you will collaborate with the Activities Director and care team in a warm, resident-centered environment, gaining valuable experience in long-term care and senior

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with daily resident activities, events, and recreation programs.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one activities for residents with various cognitive and physical abilities.
• Promote resident participation in social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Create flyers, newsletters, bulletin boards, and promotional materials.
• Assist with activity calendar development and event planning.
• Shop for activity supplies and maintain inventory; encourage resident engagement.
• Support holiday celebrations, themed events, outings, and special programs.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Assist with evening and weekend activities as scheduled.
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and person-centered environment.
