Position Summary

The Activity Assistant will help plan, organize, coordinate, and lead engaging activities designed to enhance the physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well‑being of our residents. This role works closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide a vibrant and rewarding resident experience.

Activity Assistant Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with daily resident activities, events, and recreation programs

Preferred:

• Previous experience as an Activity Assistant, Activity Aide, Recreation Aide, Recreation Assistant, Activities Coordinator, Resident Engagement Assistant, or Senior Activities Assistant
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, memory care, or senior living
• Experience creating activity calendars, flyers, and resident programming
