Job summary

Architects Unlimited LLC is seeking a part-time architectural Independent Contractor or employee who can work about 20 hours/week with a strong emphasis on remote work. The role is suitable for a licensed architect or someone pursuing licensure, with at least 3 years of experience under an architect and readiness to take on development, coordination, and client communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of architectural experience under an architect.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and graphic presentation skills.
• Understanding of building codes and construction documentation.
• Experience with building systems and methods.
• Licensure or active pursuit of licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Lead aspects of project development and coordination appropriate to experience level.
• Produce and refine drawings, BIM models, and presentation materials.
• Prepare permit and construction document sets.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and specialty teams.
• Help lead drafters and redline drawings.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations with increasing leadership.
• Develop renderings, diagrams, and presentation materials.
• Assist with scheduling, task management, and project coordination.
• Support construction administration activities (RFIs, submittals, site visits).
• Contribute to QA/QC and technical consistency across documents.
• Help improve office standards, templates, and workflows.
• Support and mentor junior staff as opportunities arise.
