Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Screening Examiner in Irving, TX to deliver dependable, flexible hours at a fixed site. This role supports our customers with on-site security procedures, screening, and incident response, while offering the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The position pays $16.82 per hour with a rotating schedule (Daytime and Weekend shifts).

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel and visitors entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and reporting to site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols around the distribution location and perimeter.
