Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Examiner in Irving, TX. The role offers flexible, reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position pays $16.82 per hour and requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks. You’ll work a fixed shift with optional extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization for personnel and visitors entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting irregular conditions.
