Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally with diverse populations and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
