Qualifications

• Background investigations may be required by federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening protocols.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures; verify identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of bags, parcels, and other items as directed by site policies and applicable procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, screening results, incidents, and other security-related observations; conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
