Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Screener in Columbus, OH to monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and report security concerns. You will provide welcoming, professional service and support a safe environment across client sites.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, shift sharing via our Claim a Shift platform, and ongoing training with opportunities for career growth. Prior security exposure and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/city and may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond to incidents and handle critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the site and perimeter.
