Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Screener in Lenexa, KS. You will screen visitors and packages, provide excellent customer service, and uphold site security protocols at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screening as required by law.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while following site policies and emergency procedures.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries per access protocols, verify credentials, direct to entry points.
Operate screening equipment and escalate concerns to leadership or responders as needed.
Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and professionally, documenting observations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
