Allied Universal in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Screening Verification. You will support access control, screen visitors and items, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment at a dynamic location.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour. Schedule: Thu–Sat 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Join Allied Universal’s collaborative team with opportunities for growth and skill development.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Screen individuals and items in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and direct visitors to check-in or access locations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify unusual activity and report findings.
