Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Kansas City, KS. You will screen visitors, monitor access points, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment with a professional, service-focused presence.

Pay rate is $19.17 per hour with a flexible schedule; Thur 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM and Sat 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Allied Universal offers growth opportunities and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while screening per procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries per access-control protocols.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections with professional presence.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities as required.
• Conduct patrols of screening areas and entrances to deter unauthorized access.
