Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Diamond Bar, CA to safeguard residents and manage access at a residential community. You will verify visitors, monitor entry points, and maintain records while providing professional service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, and using tablets/computers for access control. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and background check per policy.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Screen and verify authorized entry of visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries per community access procedures.
• Monitor access points, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and communicate activity to site management.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct patrols of community grounds and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a residential community.
• Screen and verify authorized entry of visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with community access procedures.
• Monitor access points, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and communicate relevant activity to site management and/or designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report(observed concerns).
