Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Diamond Bar, CA to safeguard residents and manage access at a residential community. You will verify visitors, monitor entry points, and maintain records while providing professional service.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Screen and verify authorized entry of visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries per community access procedures.
• Monitor access points, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and communicate activity to site management.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct patrols of community grounds and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
