Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Ontario, CA to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, document activity, and report security concerns while maintaining a professional, friendly presence.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required by law.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas according to site policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and logs of visitors, vehicles, and screening activity.
Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency personnel.
Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
