Job summary

Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Screening Intake Specialist. The role offers a $17.33/hour pay rate with a two-night schedule (Wed, Thur, 10:00 PM–06:00 AM) at a fast-paced logistics site.

You will monitor access, screen personnel and property, verify badges, and respond to incidents with professional customer service. Allied Universal emphasizes growth, training, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
X-ray screening experience preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized property per site procedures and escalate irregularities.
Verify access credentials and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, and entry points.
