Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Access Monitoring) in San Francisco, CA. You will provide security services for a technology-focused site, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional environment.

The role offers part-time hours with a pay rate of $40.95 per hour, and benefits through the company’s perks program. CPR/First Aid and guard card are preferred, with baseline HS diploma and 18+ years of age required.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity or issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, reporting unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating security concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
