Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in San Francisco, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at a designated site with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform.

The pay rate is $40.95 per hour, and the role provides a path to grow within a leading security and facility services company. The schedule includes daytime night shifts, with opportunities to scale to up to 40 hours per week as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements, including verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
