Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in West Palm Beach, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with an option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings, and a base pay of $19.00 per hour.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in security, high school diploma, a guard card, and comfort with basic computer use; ideal for building a part-time schedule toward greater hours.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity as required.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
