Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at our West Palm Beach, FL site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts on a schedule platform, providing flexible hours and potential for increased earnings.

The position pays $19.85 per hour and requires a security license, background checks, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. A college degree or prior security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Guard card is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen may be required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while performing security procedures.
• Screen visitors, personal property, and items per access-control procedures.
• Verify identification and issue credentials as needed.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, solution‑oriented manner and report concerns.
• Monitor entry points and deter unauthorized access.
