Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex with a part-time shift in La Canada Flintridge, CA. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, assist customers, and respond to incidents across various sites.

Must have a high school diploma or 5 years experience; a valid driver’s license; background check and drug screen where permitted; able to work irregular shifts; and be at least 18 years old. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or client vehicles.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by state.
• No prior experience required.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
