Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Flex -unarmed in La Canada Flintridge, California. You will work a part-time shift using our shift-pickup platform to view and claim openings across multiple sites, gaining broad site experience while protecting people and property.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience, and a valid license where required. Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach help you succeed in this flexible, rewarding

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed) and able to operate radio/console monitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits; control access as required.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
