Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Preparedness to safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming environment. You will perform unarmed patrols, assist with access control, and provide customer service across Retail/Malls environments.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling with shifts that fit your availability; prior security experience and valid license are preferred, along with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screens are standard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and hazards to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally following site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
