Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or hazards to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
