Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Emergency Support in Florence, NJ. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, control access, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s people-first culture.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, parking areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
