Job summary

Qualifications

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
