Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Florence, NJ. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, at $18.74 per hour.

Schedule: DayTime Fri 09:15 AM - 07:15 PM, with a six-month anchor commitment and opportunities to work extra shifts. Responsibilities include serving employees and visitors, patrolling premises, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report access concerns as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete patrol logs and daily activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and leadership.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
