Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Florence, NJ. You will monitor access points, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors at a technology-focused site.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
