Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Route Driver) for Wilmington, NC. In this role you will serve clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with a professional, customer-focused approach.

You will drive on site, uphold security procedures, and collaborate with a caring, reliable team. The schedule is daytime, part-time, with opportunities to grow within a leading security

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license in state where job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, offices, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
