Allied Universal in Maysville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across utilities and other sectors. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, comfort with a computer or tablet, and strong communication skills. Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization for employees, visitors, and contractors, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
