Job summary

Allied Universal in Ohio is seeking a Security Officer Driver Part-Time to provide unarmed security, patrol duties, and customer service at a utilities location. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn by driving on-site.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain logs. A valid driver’s license and at least one year of security experience are required, along with minimum age 18.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, perimeter areas, and parking locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify credentials as directed, and maintain logs of visitors, deliveries, and unusual occurrences.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in required reports, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
