Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenup, KY seeks a part-time unarmed Security Officer (Driver). You will patrol sites, deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service across chemical/petrochemical locations.

Daytime schedule includes Sat and Sun shifts; pay rate is $12.00 per hour. A valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, document visitor/activity, and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations clearly, and assist with emergency evacuation or response procedures.
