Owen J. Roberts School District is seeking Part-Time Security Officers to support district facilities on an as-needed basis. The role covers traffic control, vehicle direction, and enforcing access policies across district sites.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid PA driver’s license with a clean record, and current PA clearances (Act 34/151/114) plus health form submission. Starting wage is $16/hour; 10 months; flexible schedule. EOE.

Owens J. Roberts School District is looking for Part- time and Substitute Security Officers to work on an as need basis.

Essential Responsibilities

• Direct traffic entering and leaving school facilities
• Direct parking of vehicles
• Stop vehicles in violation of traffic control directions
• Search vehicle on school property in instances when legally required
• Refuse admission to school activities in circumstances of policy violation
• Respond to disturbances on school property
• Request assistance from Owen J. Roberts School District School Police, local and/or State law enforcement agencies

Qualifications

To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and safe driving record.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions using common-sense problem solving when necessary.
• Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.
• Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

Terms Of Employment

10 months, up to 5.5 hours per day

Starting Rate- $16.00 per hour

Salary and benefits according to the negotiated agreement between the Board of School Directors.
