Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Act 120 certification.
• Able to acquire Act 34/151/114 clearances.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact calmly with students, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible police presence on campus.
• Respond to disturbances, alarms, incidents and emergencies.
• Investigate violations and prepare reports.
• Direct traffic and manage campus safety.
• Provide educational programs on school safety and crime prevention.
• Teach students about their rights and responsibilities.
