Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer TWIC in Orange, TX. The role focuses on customer service, access control, and emergency response at chemical/petrochemical locations. Must hold a TSA TWIC and a valid driver’s license where required, with a preference for prior guard credentials and background checks.

You will patrol, monitor entries, verify credentials, and document incidents while representing Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required by location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor personnel and vehicle entry and exit, verify credentials as required, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and potential hazards to designated site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
