Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at the Houston industrial site. TWIC is required and the role includes managing access points, verifying credentials, patrolling, and responding to incidents with professionalism and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license in the state of the job location.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial terminal location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Inspect inbound and outbound vehicles, shipments, and personnel as directed by site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and removal of property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
