Job summary

Allied Universal in La Porte, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to support a chemical/petrochemical site. You will provide security, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations calmly and following protocols.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitors and deliveries.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and communicate with leadership and site contacts.
