Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Investigation in New York, NY. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and the potential to earn more.

Pay rate is $18.87 per hour, with day and night schedules described as DayTime Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and residents at a government-operated homelessness services location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, communicating observations to site personnel and responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following site procedures and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and residents at a government-operated homelessness services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, entrances, common spaces, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of residents, staff, and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
