Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Fort Wayne, IN to provide frontline security services at a technology-focused location. You will patrol, monitor access points, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis on reliable communication, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions, facility concerns, and policy violations; document incidents and observations in required reports.
• Assist with visitor management, credential verification, and access procedures while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic environment.
