Securitas USA in Poplar Bluff, MO is seeking a Security Officer to monitor premises, control access and patrol diverse sites. The role emphasizes de-escalation, safety reporting and customer service to employees and visitors.

We offer competitive hourly pay of $19.50, a weekend schedule, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K, plus paid time off and other perks.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Calm and professional under stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Professional demeanor at all times.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license required; driving record must meet standards.

Responsabilidades

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Truck gate access control.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Schedule: Sun: 0600 - 1400

The Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
