Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in San Diego, CA to provide reliable, friendly front-desk service at a commercial real estate site. The role offers flexible fixed shifts and opportunities to pick additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage access, monitor cameras, and respond calmly to incidents per established procedures. This position emphasizes customer service and security proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, and communication channels; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following procedures.
• Support reception operations by directing visitors, answering phones, receiving deliveries, and communicating information to management.
