Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for a San Francisco, CA site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. Pay is $25.00 per hour, with a path toward more hours up to 40 per week.

The position emphasizes customer service, front desk duties, incident response, and adherence to site access policies. A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and residential access policies.
• Monitor entry activity from the front desk, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and package records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Answer phones, provide directions and information, and support communication between residents, building staff, and authorized service providers.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues at the front desk and adjacent entry areas.
