Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Performance Center Patrol in New York, NY. You will provide customer service to patrons and staff while maintaining a safe environment, patrolling venues, monitoring access, and responding to incidents.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Security license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patrons, artists, staff, and visitors while following security procedures and emergency policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout performance venues, public spaces, backstage areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support entry procedures for guests, employees, contractors, and deliveries per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events in a calm, professional manner and document activities as required.
• Support a welcoming environment during performances and events while deterring unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
